Welcome to Hawk Nation!

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope you will come back often. We want to provide our parents, students, community members, and stakeholders with up-to-date information, resources, and great happenings in the district.

The Westwood Heights School District is home to approximately 1,200 students. McMonagle Elementary houses Project SKIP, Headstart, and Pre-School for children ages 0-4 and grades Kindergarten through 6th. Hamady Middle/High will once again house 7th through 12th grades.

Opportunities are available for our students to participate in many extracurricular activities in all grade levels. There are several new and exciting offerings planned for students to keep them engaged, excited, and motivated to learn as we continue to meet their growing needs.

During our rich history and tradition, the Westwood Heights School District has produced district, regional, and state champions, astronauts, professional coaches, college level athletes and scholars, world champion and plympic boxers, stars of the stage, doctors, lawyers, educators, entrepreneurs, and many other successful professionals. We are extremely proud of our students and the many things they have been able to accomplish. Hawk Pride resonates throughout our buildings and community. Join us and be a part of an ongoing tradition of success.

If you are new to the district, we welcome you. If you are returning to the district, we encourage you to see for yourself the positive changes initiated that will help us prepare your child for a bright future. We are committed to providing quality child and adult education programs, GED courses, athletics, after-school activities and more. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. We are here to serve you.

It is with great excitement and Hamady Hawk pride that we have the opportunity to to introduce the new principal of Hamady Middle and High School. Learn more about Mr. Key under the Principal Corner Page under the Hamady Middle / High School Page.
